BreezyWP & Hosting
Hosting your website is something everyone needs to do but you need to choose between hosting it on either BreezyWP.com (My own hosting company) or another provider.
Using BreezyWP
Using breezyWP.com is the simplest option that will result in the least amount of unknowns and issues as the template is fully tested on the servers we use.
Creating A Server to host your website
Create an account at breezyWP.com
Create a server by clicking top right blue button while on the dashboard.
Name your server (Anything will do, its for your record just)
Server Size should be at least SVR2 to get started and increase as traffic comes in. Please get in touch to increase your server size.
Location should be the closest to your customers. Usually London.
Once Your server has created this can take 15 min), create your website.
Click into your server by clicking on the name and then click the "Create Website" button
Add your domain name in - this should be "example.co.uk" ONLY. You do not need to include www. Then create website.
Wait for 10 min while the website creates on the server.
In the meantime copy your IP Address that's listed on your server page and create an "A Record" on your DNS settings within your domain registrar. (Your registrar could be godaddy, namecheap, 123-reg etc) if you need help locating your dns records to add the IP address as your registrar for support.
Once added you will need to wait until the change gets picked up by the internet.
From there you can check your domain name on your browser. (google chrome, firefox etc)
Once the default wordpress home screen appears you are ready to go onto the next. if it does not after an hour or so please check your DNS settings are correct.
Self Hosting
If you would like to use the template on your own hosting provider that is no problem, see the next article "Installation" once you have a fresh wordpress install setup on your hosting partner of choice.
